Central Elementary Rodeo Day is held every year for the kids. They get to dress up in their best western attire and participate in rodeo events. There is a stick horse race, steer roping, branding, face painting, a boot toss and live animals. My friend Jennifer and I organized the event for this year. It was a lot of work but the kids had a wonderful day.
This is Gracie's class and her teacher Mrs. Child's. The "clown" in the center is Mrs. Walker, the principal of the school. Gracie's class won the PTO membership drive and got to dress up Mrs. Walker as a clown for winning. They enjoyed every second of it and had their class picture in the Stephenville Empire Tribune.
