Each year Kathy takes Gracie shopping at the Dollar Tree for gifts for her family and lets Gracie pick them out all by herself. Some of them are soooo lovely! But it is a fun little tradition and she puts a lot of thought into her "special" gifts.

The Hunt for the Christmas Tree at Grandad McIntire's

Each year John's Grandad sets out with the kids to find the perfect tree. They go out to the pasture and cut it down. Then it is taken back home and decorated to celebrate Christmas later that night. Grandad still loves doing it and has been doing it since John and his cousins were little kids!
